Life Hacks to Improve Eczema

Posted on September 28, 2018

"Think I’ve finally cracked it. Put a blanket on my leather settee where I sit and the backs of my legs are improving. Flare-ups on my arms but that’s where I’ve forgotten and leaned on the leather. Definitely something in the leather that I’m allergic to." -A member of MyEczemaTeam

On MyEczemaTeam, the social network and online support group for those living with eczema, members talk about a range of personal experiences and struggles. Life hacks are one of the top topics most discussed.

Here are some tips from members of MyEczemaTeam

I had to soak my son's legs in dead sea salt and apply sudocrem mixed with vaseline before he got some relief and eventually slept for a couple of hours.

I’ve been using medical olive oil overnight to try to get rid of the dryness and itching... so far so good but if anyone does try this needs washing off before you go outside

Has anyone tried to use aloe vera for your baby's eczema?

We invested in a small humidifier - to put moisture back into the air.

Can you relate? What life hacks or tips would you share?
